Villa de vacances exceptionnelle. Le cadre est idyllique et la décoration de la villa est magnifique

Un lieu exceptionnel. A l'etage( complet) de la villa avec un accès prive direct a la plage du diamant. L'appartement est bien équipé. Parfait pour se reposer sur la très grande terrasse. La plage est magnifique.

Nous étions 3 couples et avons passé un très agréable séjour, le logement est parfait, très agréable, très bien situé nous recommandons vivement. L’accueil au top, à l’écoute, arrangeant, si nous avons l’occasion nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

Un cadre unique. Une maison sublime. Un accueil parfait. Des touches d'attention qui viennent se rajouter à cette prestation déjà haut de gamme. Je pense n'avoir jamais été aussi ravie par un airbnb. Vraiment bravo. Les vacances façon cartes postales et le souvenir inoubliable existe ici ! Mille fois merci.

Tout le confort que l’on peut attendre est là. La cuisine est parfaitement équipée: four, micro ondes, lave-vaisselle, Nespresso ou cafetière standard, grille pain....les chambres disposent toutes d’une salle d’eau. La terrasse propose une multitude de transats, de chaises et de petits coins savamment agencés propices à la détente et au repos.
Vous aurez compris que nous avons été sous le charme de la maison de Philippe. L’accueil très chaleureux de Virginie et sa bienveillance s’ajoutent à la beauté du lieu. Encore merci de proposer un logement de cette qualité. Nous avons plus qu’apprécié notre séjour et espérons très sincèrement y revenir. Voir moins

Superbe villa, très bien équipée, jolie piscine, très belle terrasse qui devient magique à la tombée de la nuit. Les chambres sont soignées également et l'emplacement de la villa est parfait ! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour !

Je ne peux que recommander ce magnifique endroit, il restera notre plus beau souvenir! La vue sur le Diamant est merveilleuse, le logement très agréable et la piscine largement suffisante!
Nous voudrions pouvoir nous y installer... 🙂

What an amazing place! It looks exactly as in the pictures, if not better! I highly recommend it. Only thing I’d say is that guests should be aware that the sea is not swimmable if you’re not a strong swimmer. Gorgeous to wake up to though!

Absolutely loved Philippe's place. It was very clean and spacious. We originally had five people, but one person could not come due to visa issues. There are a total of three apartments. Our apartment was the entire upstairs. This included 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. There is a curvy staircase to get to the upstairs apartment, so if mobility is an issue, this will be difficult. We were all young and fit, so no issues for us. The apartment is gated. We rented a car and I would recommend this if you plan to get out of Le Diamant. If hills are an issue for you, Martinique may not be the best place for you to visit. We were right on the beach and we walked to the nearby village every morning for fresh fruit and chicken. Would recommend and stay here again. Lastly, the wifi did its job. Nothing super fast, but it worked and didn't go out. There are a few dead spots in the house, but no issues for us. Voir moins

I just arrived back stateside and I have to say I am truly depressed to be back in the cold after enjoying a wonderful week at this beautiful property on the beach. I have stayed at many properties all across the Caribbean and Phillippes place, Villa Marquise is absolutely one of the most magnificent private villas I have ever experienced.

I have stayed at many properties all across the Caribbean and Phillippes place, Villa Marquise is absolutely one of the most magnificent private villas I have ever experienced.

The back deck with small private pool that has a breathtaking view of the crystal clear turquoise ocean! Plenty of seating from lounge chairs to dining seating and even a 2 person day lounger and rocking chair on the patio! The beach has a beautiful view of the mountains to the right of the property which were even more enchanting during sunset. Some people said there was seaweed on the beach but we didn't experience that much at all. Very few bugs in our experience probably due to the light wind off the beach, which was a major plus!

The gated villa is the perfect size for 2 - 3 couples, (3 bedrooms) and set up for entertaining, although it was just myself and my girlfriend for this particular trip to Martinique. The nicely decorated rooms were the perfect size, each with their own full bathrooms. Kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials. Our day of arrival host, Virginnie was very helpful and answered all our questions graciously.

The village of La Diamant has all the essentials such as a few good local restaurants, open air market, grocery store, bakery, ice cream shop and souvenir shops, but it is not a bustling town if you're looking for great nightlife or anything fancy. You get a very mellow, relaxed and authentic vibe staying in La Diamant, which is exactly what we were looking for. Martinique as a whole is exclusively French speaking, although we met some people that knew enough english to help us along the way as our French was not up to par. We visited many villages and towns on the southern side of the island and found La Diamant to be the most well equipped, beautiful and charming town in our travels.

One thing I must say is that you must get a rental car as taxis are pretty non existent and expensive from what we heard. Take a drive to the west and east and explore the little towns along the way. There are plenty of excursions to enjoy in Martinique but Balatta Gardens near Fort De France is not be missed. We also took a catamaran trip with Blue Dreams that was very relaxing and saw spotted dolphins that come right up to the boat! We never got a chance to swim with the turtles but heard that is something you must try!

Again, Villa Marquise is absolutely perfect in every way. Only problem is you may not want to leave this magnificent property to see the rest of the island.

This place was unbelievable and the location could not be beat. You are surrounded by beauty in your own Oasis with access to all the local resources that your need. If you are wondering if you should book the answer is yes, book!

You will enjoy the fantastic view of the Caribbean Sea right from the deck! This villa has wonderful outdoor space with a nice pool. The kitchen is well appointed and also has a washer & dryer. I would recommend renting a car to see all the sights and to drive in for dinner as there are no sidewalks for the half hour walk. There is a small grocery store in town and a couple of bakeries. The swimming directly in front of the villa can be rough, so we drove to a nice calm bay Les Anses-D'Arlet where the snorkelling is very good (about 15 min. drive). It is a beautiful villa and I would certainly recommend staying here. Voir moins

We couldn't have asked for a better stay - Philippe was quick to respond to all our questions and Virginne and Ludo were helpful during our stay. A beautiful view of Diamond Rock from the house and direct access to the beach make for a great location. We enjoyed walks on the beach and the outdoor space at the house is lovely. We really enjoyed our time here.

Surpris pas une aussi belle prestation à ce prix ! Vous passez de la mer des Caraïbes à une piscine (avec aucun vis à vis) en 2 secondes ! Beaucoup d’endroits pour se poser un peu partout (transat, canapé...). Wifi parfaite ! Accueil parfait !

Beautiful and spacious villa, with excellent outdoor space! We had a very warm welcome from Virginie, who showed us all the amenities. I highly recommend the villa for a break.

Philippe’s house was heavenly! The pictures on Airbnb don’t do it justice. The rooms are comfortable, nice beds, cool air conditioning, and full kitchen. The view of Diamond Rock was our favorite! We lounged by the pool and watched the body surfers and boogie boarders enjoy the surf each day. You do need to rent a car to get around the rest of the ... You do need to rent a car to get around the rest of the island of Martinique, but the nearby town is within walking distance. We had a car and it was nice to have a gated driveway to park our car. The house is a 2 bedroom but has three bedrooms available depending on what guests need. One bedroom is totally separate and is located out by the pool with a separate entrance. Each bedroom has its own full bath. The living room doesn’t have a lot of seating but we weren’t inside much of the time so it didn’t matter to us. It has a couch that can seat 2 with an attached chaise lounge for one person. The TV works and it’s a smart TV where you can watch French Netflix. I attached my computer to the TV with the HDMI cable and was able to watch my Xfinity channels from the US as well as US Netflix while we were there. Again, we didn’t watch that much Tv but we were keeping up with the US Open tennis tournament. The pool outside is wonderful! You get some nice shade during the day from the palm trees so you can enjoy the pool during the day without baking or burning yourself. They have a nice bar outside with windows that flow into the kitchen. All of these windows can open with electric shutter controls. It was nice to open the entire house and let the sea breeze flow in! The beach had a lot of seaweed right now, but the water had its clear times where there was no seaweed at all. It didn’t stop us from enjoying the water! We also drove to nearby beaches, one of our favorites was Les Anses-d’Arlet where the water is so crystal clear and looks like a swimming pool and you can see tons of fish, turtles, and see the beautiful St. Henri Catholic Church. Just go during the week, though. They also have tons of little restaurants on the beach there.

Philippe was very responsive to all questions and concerns, as well as Ludo, who was on site and available quickly if we needed him. The neighborhood was very quiet and we never had rowdy neighbors or loud traffic. We plan to return to Philippe’s house again when we come back to Martinique! We miss the island already! Voir moins

Le village du Diamant est très mignon, tous les types de restaurants sont à faire du New cap aux snacks du marché.
La mer accessible de la villa est agitée, ce qui ne nous a pas empêché de nous baigner avec des bodyboards néanmoins.
Nous n’avons pas eu de problème d’algues. Et de belles plages très calmes sont très proches dont l’anse mabouyas.

Amazing location, right in front of a secluded beach. Great outdoor space and modern amenities. Exactly as pictured in the posting. Virginie was an amazing host. Very responsive and caring. Do not hesitate if you already contemplate it.

Magnifique villa, il n’y manque rien...
et en plus se lever et se coucher avec la vue sur la plage ( accès direct ) et le bruit des vagues... dur de tout décrire donc qu’une seule chose à dire : allez-y sans hésitation !

La villa est propre et très bien équipée. Séjour agréable. Je recommande pour familles et couples. Voiture obligatoire, car un peu excentré du bourg.

The house is located precisely on beautiful Diamant Beach, which is perfect for surfing and kite surfing. We took great pleasure in our long walks on the gorgeous sand of Diamant! But what made our trip most enjoyable were Philippe and Rose! They kindly welcomed us and were available at any time to make our stay most comfortable!!! We were Greeted by a very efficient but very unfriendly young woman who was in such a hurry to show us the various aspects of the house , that she had left by the time we realised the wifi was not working .

we were slightly irritated by her again when we moved from one rental to the one next door after one night (this had been previously agreed) when we were chastised like children for not stripping our bed , we had paid the cleaning fee agreed ,and had left the place spotless .

Her hospitality skills are sorely lacking!

That aside , the house functions really well and is well equipped , the pool is a lovely bonus and there is plenty of seating .The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning quiet. The decor unfortunately is not , we counted 12 buddas in the property, every where you look there is something to distract the eye ,giving the place the appearance of a furniture closing down sale rather than a holiday rental. which is a pity as simplifying the decor would make such a huge difference.

The beach at Diamant suffers from intermittent seaweed invasions and can smell really awful when its at its peak , which really affects the enjoyment of the beautiful location.
The beach is so beautiful and the little village very charming although a car is essential .
Overall it a great spot , but you must have a car , as we were only two , i think it would work better for larger parties. Voir moins
